Rescue:
A woman who lives at least an hour and a half from the sanctuary had called everyone that she
could think of in regards to three little kittens. She had been housing them in a shop/garage at
her place of employment. A number of months back a mother cat showed up and had her litter
of kittens in this garage. The environment was not clean as it was full of automotive parts,
skids, cardboard boxes, and metal shelving., but it was a haven for a homeless cat. The staff
helped to socialize the kittens and at one point the mother cat disappeared When the woman
reached out to Pet Patrol the cats we’re getting older and at this point they were now almost 6
months of age. All sweet and friendly and happy to be entertained by people and cuddled. Pet
Patrol was the only rescue that answered her plea and several attempts were made to have
the cats come into our care through volunteer drivers. Eventually, she drove the distance herself and they came directly to the sanctuary. Daria, Dante and Daine, all lovely, sweet little
cats, and are ready for adoption.
Personality:
Daine is a gentle and easy going cat who has made himself at home in the sanctuary with his
two sisters. He is always cuddling with them, grooming and purring with delight as they pamper him and he shows affection to them. We feel that once introduced to another cat who is
also kind and loving, that he will display his kind soul to them as well. Daine likes to play with
toys and chase anything that moves. He is use to the wand toys, crinkle balls, kitty tunnels and
of course gazing at the world outside. Watching the birds and squirrels is wonderful and
interesting. Daine is ready to be adopted into his forever home. One that will welcome him
into the family and keep him safely indoors.
