Rescue:

For his entire life, Jasper has been known to be a very loving and affectionate cat, who is very
adaptable to new environments, and was great company to his owner. He originated on a farm
where people do things the traditional way, sometimes, without Hydro or the use of motorized
vehicles. He came into his home as a small kitten, to live with a young woman, who eventually
moved out of the area. At some point, she was unable to look after him for a variety of reasons,
and he went to live with her mother, which is where he has been for the last few years.
He now finds himself in a situation where the lady needs to move into a nursing home as her
health has declined rapidly, and she is on oxygen. She only had a few weeks time to place him
and it was with a heavy heart that she let him go but happy he was in Pet Patrol care to be
adopted into another loving home.

Personality:

Jasper is a great cat. He is very good with children and patient with dogs as well. He has not
had any problems integrating into his foster home where there is another kitty. He actually
plays fetch with little cat toys and hair elastics and he is very interested in what you do and
where you are. As an affectionate cat, he loves to lounge on the couch with you watching TV or
be close to you while you’re working on the computer. If startled by weird noises he tends to
hide in the bath tub. He loves new people and will make them feel comfortable. Jasper is
ready to be adopted into his forever home. One that will welcome him into the family keep him
safely indoors.
