Rescue:
Cindy was born in the summer time and appeared in one family’s back yard. Her mother cat
disappeared one day, never to be seen again and Cindy and one other kitten grew up in a tight
knit neighbourhood. They watched over the cats and made sure they were fed. Unfortunately,
they never received any medical care and had never been indoors until the time of the rescue.
With so many people looking after the cats it is quite surprising that they were not scooped up
when they were tiny. It would have provided them with security and they would have been adopted
into a home much sooner than now. Cindy would tap the woman’s hand if she felt she was a little
slow at scooping out the food and would bunt her head into her palm for a head scratch and a
pet. Little Cindy is very sweet and quite a little chatterbox.
Personality:
From her foster mom: Cindy has been a pleasure to care for and watching her become more and
more comfortable in our home. She started out hiding in her little cat cave, to the present,
proudly walking up to us for a long and loving pet. Don’t think about stopping because she won’t
allow it and will let you know by bunting her head into your hand and pawing for more. Cindy is a
very sweet quiet girl who is a bit more reserved around a lot of sudden activity or noise. She
enjoys lounging around and peering out the window watching the world outside from a safe environment.
Cindy is very playful and if you throw a spring toy her way and she will fly after it but her
all time fav is when you wave a long ribbon from the kitty wand and she will chase and catch it like
she’d caught a real mouse. This pretty little calico has become best friends with Anna at her foster home is ready to be adopted with her into their forever home.
One that will welcome them into the family and keep them safely indoors.
