Rescue:

Zavia had been spotted occasionally behind a local grocery store. It’s a bit of a strip mall with
several retail stores and a local pet food store. She was pretty small when they first spotted
her but then she disappeared before she could be rescued. It was a few weeks later when she
was spotted again and the staff from the pet food store immediately put out some canned food
and she quickly filled her belly. The next step was to set the humane trap with the support of
security guards and a local police officer who would drive by and check the trap during the
evening. When the store opened the next morning they discovered Zavia in the trap. Luckily
she had not been in there very long and soon she was on her way to Pet Patrol

Personality:

Zavia is a very gentle and loving kitten. Some of her favourite toys are teaser toys, balls and
paper bags and people watching out the window. She gets very active around the night time
but will eventually calm down and lay by your feet. She is friendly and whenever she hears
voices around her she becomes very curious to see what’s happening. Loud noises can
become frightening to her at times, but with a little patience and encouragement she will regain
her confidence and come to you for playtime. Zavia is an intelligent girl having lived by
her wits outside, and once she is told not to do something she will remember it. This pretty
girl is ready to be adopted into her forever home. One that will welcome her into the family
and keep her safely indoors
