ADOPTION PROFILE

Duranto

Duranto

Duranto

Rescue:

A woman who lives in a small town had been feeding cats in her area for quite a few years.
The adult cats don’t stick around too long after dropping off their kittens to her back porch.
They know that they will be looked after, fed and provided with some shelter. It is a safe haven
for them and they happily play in her gardens and bask in the sun. They huddle up in their little
house at bedtime but still, they are exposed to the elements every minute of the day, and are
at risk of becoming prey. Now she had six little ones who were running around and she just
knew that she was not going to be able to find homes for them. In the past she had rehomed
other cats and their offspring with friends and family but now she had exhausted her contacts.
In calling Pet Patrol we knew that these kittens would be happy, healthy and had been handled
and we gladly took them in. Duranto, Daisy, Deja, Dixie and Dandy were soon enjoying toys
and a comfy warm bed at the sanctuary before going to their foster home.

Personality:

Duronto is a lovely little kitten and enjoys the company of other cats, especially his brother
Dandy. He is happiest when playing with toys that bounce and jingle, the kitty tunnel is a favourite
and so is wrestling, kitten style, with his siblings. Like all kittens he is curious and likes
to check out everything that is new or appears to be interesting. He is also is a cuddler and
loves to sleep in a pile with his playmates and on his person’s lap. He is quite content to be
held and carried around. Duronto is ready to be adopted into his forever home hopefully with
his brother Dandy. One that will welcome him into the family and keep him safely indoors.
