Rescue:
Mishu is an adorable little cat who is sweet, calm and affectionate. How she ended up in a
cattle barn we will never know. At first sight the owner of the property did not know what exactly
she was until the shape of her head revealed she was a cat. She was filthy dirty, covered
in mud, cow feces and was soaking wet as well. This poor little cat was not going to survive
the rapidly changing weather of the fall from rain to cold temperatures. She was very thin and
extremely hungry. Not knowing what to do initially, the owner thought they would just keep her
in the barn, but if she went out to the paddock, the cows would have stomped on her. She
eventually called a family member who volunteers for Pet Patrol and soon after Mishu was
picked up and taken home. There she received a nice warm shower, a solid meal and went
into a deep sleep. The next day she came into Pet Patrol care
Personality:
Despite her rough start in life, Mishu has shown us a sweet loving kitten with the cutest
squeaky meow. She likes to be around her people and cuddle up on anyone’s lap for a pet
and a purr. Always wanting to see what is new and what is happening in her foster home, she
will follow you around and does not miss anything. Such an easy going little kitten she easily fit
into her foster home made herself at home. She is a nice little companion who is good with
other kittens (her playmate is Babee) and has been around the resident dog, adult cats and
gentle children. Mishu is quite playful and active, chasing after her foster sibling and playing
with wand toys, batting balls around or climbing the cat tree. She also likes to watch the birds
and people from the safety of the window sill. This pretty girl is ready to be adopted into her
forever home. One that will welcome her into the family and keep her safely indoors.
