ADOPTION PROFILE

Zema

Zema

Zema

Rescue:

Pet Patrol received a call in regards to this pretty little cat, Zema. She had been adopted into
a family home, by first time cat owners, when she was very tiny. She was born into a neighbour’s
home where they had not had their cat fixed. As this kitty grew up the family was able to
get her vaccinations done but did not have her spayed. And they allowed her to be an indoor/
outdoor cat. Nature would obviously take its course. (Even though you don’t see male cats
roaming the neighbourhood they can smell a female in heat on the wind, and can travel up to 5
miles a day looking for a mate) In a few short weeks it became very obvious that Zema was
pregnant, meanwhile the mom in the home developed health issues and was becoming allergic
to this pretty cat. The family was asking Pet Patrol to take her into our care and six days after she went into a foster home, she gave birth to her kittens

Personality:

This pretty girl Zema enjoys sitting on the top of the couch by your head while receiving a good
scratch under her chin and around her ears. Her favorite view of her surroundings is when she
stretches out up on top of the cat climber/scratching post, and she uses it often. Although she
may not be a lap cat, Zema likes to be with her people and enjoys the attention and affection.
When she discovers that her food dish is empty she will let you know for sure, your duties have
failed, but she is forgiving. Her sense of hearing is heightened when the treat bag is opened
and will come running as fast as a tornado to investigate and enjoy. Zema is ready to be
adopted into her forever home. One that will welcome here into the family and keep her safely
indoors
