Rescue:
Cherah and her feline family came from a house that is very old, very rural, and extremely rundown.
A man lives there on his own and it looks like he has been there for many years. He
doesn’t seem to be very handy as everything is in poor shape. floors are worn and have holes in
them, nothing has been moved in many years and probably nothing cleaned in 40 years. An ad
was put on social media because he felt it was time to find homes for some of the cats. He had
raised them to be loving cats, very social and accepting of new environments. But he had just too
many for his liking. Previously three cats had been rehomed and when Pet Patrol arrived it was
obvious the environment was not healthy for either himself or the cats. Expecting he would only
give us two cats we were lucky enough to get three and after that more. Cherah and her siblings
were immediately brought to the sanctuary, bathed, treated for parasites and soon after were
spayed or neutered. They are wonderful loving cats deserving of a much better life.
Personality:
Cherah is a cat with pure love in her eyes, very sweet and extremely friendly, with an adorable
little chin which occasionally twitches when she gets chin scratches. She is generally laid back
and not hugely into playing with toys, but absolutely loves being pet and snuggling with her two
legged friends. She eagerly rubs herself on any nearby person and immediately jumps at the
chance to climb into an available lap. As a very gentle soul she would be an ideal companion –
following her humans around the house to see what they are up to whilst hoping for a bit of
love. Cherah is friendly towards other cats and would be fine in a home with respectful children
and would flourish around a busy family. Despite being a bit of an attention seeker, she is only a
little bit talkative and doesn’t make any noise at night. She will provide endless and unconditional
love through dark times, and make her humans laugh endlessly in good times.
