Rescue:

Tommy came from the same farm as Candy and other kittens that we had gone to help.
This is a property where they do things the traditional way, horse and buggy is the mode of
transport and they all dress the same. They are very good people and feed their cats and
look after them. The call came through one day saying that they had more cats than they
needed and would we like some. The first time our volunteers went to visit the farm there
was a series of young cats probably 12 to 14 weeks old which Pet Patrol was able to take
in and find homes for. Then there was Candy and she had a litter of kittens who we raised
and found homes for all. On the next visit they showed us Tommy. A lovely white and orange
boy who is easy to pick up and cuddle. He would purr loudly kneading the air and push his
head into you with a big smile on his face. The family felt that he was too big with the other
two remaining cats on the property and might be a bit bossy. We gladly took Tommy in as
he is completely adorable

Personality:

Since being neutered, Tommy has only shown us a calm and easy going nature. He absolutely
loves to be picked up and cuddled. While holding him he will nudge his head into your
chest, or under your chin, purring happily and wanting more pets and love. Definitely a lap
cat, he adores his people and is very good company. Not ever being in a house before he
was pretty amazed by all these fancy conveniences like the warm dryer, window ledges and
what is in the fridge. As amazing to him as were toys. He, of course, goes for the catnip
ones first, but anything that he can chase down makes him happy. Tommy is ready to be
adopted into his forever home. One that will welcome him into the family and keep him
safely indoors.
