ADOPTION PROFILE

Couscous

Couscous

Rescue:

A co-worker of one of Pet Patrol’s volunteers called to see if we could take in a kitten from her.
She and her husband owned a farm and they had at least 25 cats that were all black and
white. One day she heard a tiny kitten crying. while she was feeding the chickens, and turned
to look around and there she was, little Couscous. She was sitting on the cold and damp
cement floor screaming at the lady to pick her up, which she readily did. She was a matching
colour to all her barn cats, but kittens are not common there. She looked around for the
mother cat, trying to see who might be nursing, or the nest with other kittens in it, but she saw
nothing out of place. She sat back; watching to see if a mother cat would come out and retrieve
the baby, but she never did . Perhaps she was moving the kitten from one place to the
other, became startled and dropped her. Soon she was on her way to Pet Patrol, where she
joined another kitten named Jazzy.

Personality:

Couscous is a brave and adventurous kitten. She has no fear and that probably got her on a
journey away from her siblings in the barn. But she is an endearing kitten, full of fun and play,
game for anything. Discovering toys has been a wonderful thing for her, as she will chase
anything that rattles or rolls, the wand toys are a favourite and put her in a box with a ball and
it is game on. She likes to run and tussle with her adoptive sister Jazzy. They have been
roommates and kindred spirits right from the first introductions. Adorable together. Couscous
is an outgoing and yet affectionate kitty, ready to be adopted into her forever home with her
BFF. One that will welcome her into the family and keep her safely indoors
