Rescue:
Griffin was one of many barn kittens where the woman was trying to keep her cat colony
controlled through spaying and neutering all the barn cats. She, herself has had several
back surgeries and now unfortunately is walking bent over and struggling to care for the
cats and her 90 something year old mother. A neighbour had been feeding the cats for her,
but also taking the kittens without her knowledge and selling them. They were not vet
checked or vaccinated and he was making a bit of pocket change out of a sad situation.
The woman was not happy about this and asked for assistance from Pet Patrol in rescuing
the kittens and finding them proper homes. Griffin was far too young to be taken from her
mother, but she has become a happy and healthy kitten now.
Personality:
Griffin was initially a little nervous of people but is very trusting of them now! He doesn’t run
away when approached and will come to you and meows for pets and cuddles. He is very
very affectionate. He is a shoulder cat and would hang out there all day if he could. His
favorite thing to do is relax on the window sill looking at cars and birds passing by. He is a
bit adventurous and likes exploring his surroundings. He’s a very special cat with lots of love
to give. Griffin is ready to be adopted with his sister Gwen into his forever home. One that
will welcome him into the family and keep him safely indoors.
