Hamlet was found wandering a quiet neighbourhood in a small town, where a woman living in a
seniors’ apartment noticed the handsome orangeandwhite boy outside. For about a week she fed
him as he cried and seemed to search for his people, but no one came looking for him. From her
secondfloor balcony, she could also see a downstairs neighbour turning a hose on Hamlet to
chase him away. With nowhere else to go, the friendly boy continued returning. Finally, she picked
him up and brought him into her apartment. Hamlet settled in beautifully with her two cats, and she
would have happily kept him if she didn’t already have two of her own. Instead, she made sure he
found his way safely into Pet Patrol’s care.
Personality:
Hamlet is a wonderfully easygoing and affectionate boy with a calm, gentle nature. He can be a
little timid when first introduced to a new environment, but it doesn’t take long for him to realize he
is safe and make himself comfortable. He settled into the sanctuary beautifully and has shown
himself to be caring, loving, and happy in the company of both people and other cats. This
handsome boy is simply looking for somewhere he can finally belong. Hamlet is ready to be
adopted into his forever home—one that will welcome him into the family and keep him safely
indoors.
