Parisienne

Rescue:

The P family came from a farm just up the road from the Pet Patrol sanctuary. The barn was home
to a variety of animals, with the kittens growing up amongst them. While this may be a common
way of life on a farm, it certainly wasn’t a safe environment for tiny kittens. Pet Patrol initially
received a call saying there were five babies needing help, but when volunteers arrived, they
quickly discovered eight kittens instead—and only three had been secured. Catching the remaining
five turned into quite the rescue mission! Volunteers found themselves lying on the barn floor
amongst manure, reaching underneath wooden skids, and creatively maneuvering through narrow
spaces between enormous bales of straw. A few of the kittens were also suffering from upper
respiratory and eye infections, something that can quickly become serious for kittens so little. One
by one, all eight were finally secured and brought into care with warm beds, proper medical care,
and full bellies.

Personality:

Parisienne is a curious, playful little girl who loves to pounce, explore, and get into just about
everything—especially when Phoenix is by her side. The two are rarely far apart and can usually be
found sleeping, eating, wrestling, or playing together. Parisienne loves crinkly balls and has a
mischievous habit of jumping for dangling pant strings and pouncing on feet to bat at unsuspecting
toes! Once playtime winds down, she is wonderfully affectionate. She loves belly rubs, fullbody
pets, gentle chin scratches, and will happily sleep on her back in your arms. Her surprisingly loud
purr starts up easily for such a tiny kitten. Parisienne would love to find a home with Phoenix so
they can continue sharing all their adventures together. Parisienne is ready to be adopted into her
forever home—one that will welcome her into the family and keep her safely indoors.
