Rescue:
Flash’s mother, Felicity, came from a large 50acre farm property where several cottages housed the
family’s adult children. There were many cats living on the property, and the family was working
hard to have them spayed, neutered, or safely rehomed. Felicity had become a favourite of one of
the daughters, who noticed that the friendly young cat was very pregnant and took her into her
home so she would have a safe place to stay. Although Felicity was still allowed to come and go
outdoors, it was clear that her kittens could arrive at any moment. Knowing how quickly farm cat
populations can grow and wanting the best possible future for both Felicity and her babies, the
family reached out for help. Felicity came into Pet Patrol’s care before her kittens were born (later
named Fantasia, Fancy, Fazle, Frisco, and Flash), ensuring that she would have a warm, safe place
to raise her family and that her kittens would never have to face the challenges of outdoor life.
Personality:
Flash just might be a secret favourite of the bunch—even though we know we’re not supposed to
have favourites! With his unique markings and incredibly sweet personality, it’s pretty easy to see
why he steals hearts. Flash embraces the classic kitten routine: play, play, play…and then nap!
Feather wands, pompom balls, springs, and anything he can bat around and inevitably lose
beneath the couch are all favourites. Once he has worn himself out, he loves curling up with his
siblings for a cozy kitten nap. Flash thrives on feline companionship and would love to be adopted
with one of his siblings or join a family with another friendly kitty ready to play and snuggle. Flash is
ready to be adopted into his forever home—one that will welcome him into the family and keep him
safely indoors.
