Rescue:
Inka’s journey to Pet Patrol began when she wandered onto a large rural horse farm tucked well
back from the main road. The property owners weren’t sure where she had come from, only that an
unfamiliar cat had started spending time around the barn. Concerned about having an unspayed
cat on the property and wanting her safely removed before more kittens could be born, they
reached out to Pet Patrol for help. A humane trap was loaned to the family, but catching Inka proved
to be more challenging than expected. The trap first caught one of the family’s own cats, and on
another attempt, clever little Inka managed to walk in, enjoy the food, and carefully tiptoe back out
again without triggering the door. Finally, after several days of patience, the family’s husband
discovered she had been successfully trapped. Once she arrived safely in Pet Patrol’s care, it didn’t
take long to see that beneath her uncertainty was a sweet and gentle cat. Dirty from life outdoors
and ready to leave the farm behind, Inka quickly began settling into the comforts of indoor life,
where she could finally enjoy the safety, warmth, and love she had been missing.
Personality:
Inka is a tiny bundle of confidence with a huge personality and an even bigger heart. Friendly,
affectionate, and endlessly social, she loves making new friends and quickly wins over everyone
she meets—whether they have two legs or four. Inka is always ready for a game of chase or a
playful wrestling match with her kitten companions, bringing plenty of fun and laughter wherever
she goes. When playtime is over, she transforms into an expert cuddle bug, happily curling up for
snuggles while filling the room with her loud, happy purrs. Petite in size but overflowing with love,
Inka thrives on attention and enjoys being part of everything her family is doing. Sweet, playful, and
impossible not to adore, Inka is ready to be adopted into her forever home. One that will welcome
her into the family and keep her safely indoors.
