Rescue:
Pet Patrol was contacted by a young woman in the heart of farm country who was desperately
searching for help with several barn kittens and their devoted mama. Surrounded by neighbouring
farms, there were cats living in nearly every barn, making it difficult to keep the population under
control. On her own property, three female cats, a wandering tomcat, and nine kittens had quickly
become more than she could manage. Thankfully, despite being born in a barn, the kittens had
been well cared for from the very beginning. The young woman’s children spent time with them
every day, making sure they were fed, watered, and handled regularly, while their attentive
champagne coloured mama lovingly watched over them and even began teaching them important
hunting skills. Knowing the kittens deserved carefully chosen indoor homes, she reached out to Pet
Patrol for help. The family also planned to look into a spay and neuter program to help prevent
future litters. Now safe in foster care, this little family is ready to leave barn life behind and begin
the search for loving forever homes.
Personality:
Archer is the perfect example of “play hard, nap hard.” This adventurous little guy spends his days
racing around the house, pouncing on toys, wrestling with his kitten friends, and filling every room
with fun and excitement. Once he’s burned off all that energy, he’s more than happy to stretch out
for a cozy nap before he’s ready to do it all over again. Archer is just as affectionate as he is playful
and absolutely loves belly scratches, rewarding every cuddle session with the sweetest little purrs.
With his bright ginger coat, big curious eyes, and irresistible charm, Archer has a way of making
everyone smile. Full of personality, love, and endless kitten antics, Archer is ready to be adopted
into his forever home. One that will welcome him into the family and keep him safely indoors
