Rescue:
Clover, Chance, and Chip came to Pet Patrol after a young man found himself in a difficult situation
he could no longer manage on his own. His girlfriend and her three children had adopted Clover
and her two kittens, Chance and Chip. Unfortunately, the relationship ended, and when she moved
out, the cats were left behind. Wanting the best for them, he tried to find them homes but quickly
realized he wasn’t sure how to ensure they would be matched with responsible adopters. His
mother reached out to several rescue organizations for help, but none were able to take them.
Eventually, through word of mouth, she found Pet Patrol. A woman involved in smallscale rescue
kindly offered to transport the cats to the sanctuary, and when they arrived, it was immediately clear
how well they had been cared for. Clover, Chance, and Chip were healthy, happy, and incredibly
accepting of love and attention. Thanks to the dedication of everyone involved, this family was able
to safely begin the next chapter of their lives while searching for their own forever homes.
Personality:
Chance and Chip are affectionate, social boys who enjoy being involved in whatever their people
are doing. They both enjoy the attention from children who are gentle. Chance is the curious explorer of the pair, always eager to investigate new rooms, inspect unfamiliar objects, and make sure he doesn’t miss out on any excitement. He loves playtime, especially when wand toys, catnip toys, or rolling balls are involved, and is always happy to settle down nearby for cuddles and quiet cuddles afterward. Chip is a sweet and gentle soul with
a calm, easygoing personality. He enjoys spending time with his people, happily leaning into pets
and soaking up affection whenever it’s offered. While he loves a good play session, he’s equally
content lounging in a sunny spot for an afternoon nap. Both boys are friendly, adaptable, and easy
to handle, making them wonderful companions in a variety of homes. Chance and Chip are ready
to find their forever home. One that will welcome them into the family and keep them safely indoors.
