Rescue:
Whitney and her siblings came to Pet Patrol after a woman who runs a small rescue in a remote
town was contacted by a couple who needed help caring for the growing number of cats on their
rural property. Over the years, they had opened their hearts to many stray cats, providing food,
shelter, and kindness to those who wandered onto their land. While some cats simply stopped by
for a meal before continuing on their way, others chose to stay. Eventually, there were simply too
many cats for the couple to manage on their own. Concerned about finding safe, loving homes for
so many cats, the couple reached out for help. Whitney and her siblings, Winifred, Winona, and
Wyatt, were safely brought into Pet Patrol’s care. Having been raised in a loving home, all of the
cats arrived friendly, social, and comfortable being handled, making the transition to foster care an
easy one as they began searching for forever homes of their own.
Personality:
Whitney is a curious little girl with a playful spirit and a toy box full of favourites — springs, balls,
tunnels, toy mice… with so many fun choices, it’s impossible for her to pick just one. Petite and
adorable, Whitney has a face that is sure to melt hearts the moment you meet her. She gets along
wonderfully with all of her siblings and would happily be adopted alongside one of her sisters or her
brother. They love chasing, wrestling, and curling up together afterward in the sweetest little kitten
pile for nap time. Whitney would make a loving, cuddly addition to almost any home — especially
one that will keep her safe, loved, and happily indoors forever.
