Rescue:

A woman who helps with a significant amount of cat rescue in her small town reached out to Pet
Patrol about Scarlett and her four kittens after their family suddenly fell on very difficult times.
Scarlett originally belonged to a young couple who also had three dogs, and because Scarlett had
been allowed outside, she unexpectedly had a litter of kittens. Not long after, the couple lost their
housing and were faced with the heartbreaking reality of having to find homes for all of their
beloved pets while trying to rebuild their lives. Thankfully, through family connections, someone
who owned a bed­and­breakfast was able to offer the couple temporary support, while friends
stepped in to take two of the dogs and another was rehomed. Scarlett and her kittens then came
safely into Pet Patrol’s care, where they could be cared for while beginning the next chapter of their
lives. Everyone involved simply wanted the best for the animals they loved, and we hope brighter
days are ahead for the family as well.

Personality:

Shara is a petite little girl with a wonderfully curious personality and a playful spirit that always
keeps her searching for her next adventure. She loves zooming up and down cat trees, batting
around her favourite springs and bouncing balls, and finding new ways to entertain herself
throughout the day. Friendly and full of energy, Shara would thrive in a home with another young
kitty to wrestle, play, and grow up alongside. More than anything, though, she would love to stay
with her sister Shibon, as the two girls share a special bond and adore spending time together.
Whether they’re snuggled up for a nap or racing around in play, these sisters bring out the very best
in each other. Shara is ready to be adopted into her forever home. One that will welcome her into
the family and keep her safely indoors.
