Rescue:

A woman who helps with a significant amount of cat rescue in her small town reached out to Pet
Patrol about Scarlett and her four kittens after their family suddenly fell on very difficult times.
Scarlett originally belonged to a young couple who also had three dogs, and because Scarlett had
been allowed outside, she unexpectedly had a litter of kittens. Not long after, the couple lost their
housing and were faced with the heartbreaking reality of having to find homes for all of their
beloved pets while trying to rebuild their lives. Thankfully, through family connections, someone
who owned a bed­and­breakfast was able to offer the couple temporary support, while friends
stepped in to take two of the dogs and another was rehomed. Scarlett and her kittens then came
safely into Pet Patrol’s care, where they could be cared for while beginning the next chapter of their
lives. Everyone involved simply wanted the best for the animals they loved, and we hope brighter
days are ahead for the family as well.

Personality:

Sawyer is an energetic, playful boy who is easily entertained and absolutely loves every toy he
comes across — though choosing a favourite is nearly impossible for him. Whether he’s chasing
toys across the room, playing tag, or wrestling around with his brother Sylus, Sawyer is always
ready for fun and adventure. Once all that energy is finally burned off, the two brothers can usually
be found curled up together for a cozy nap. Sawyer would thrive in a home with another active
feline friend who can keep up with his playful spirit, and he would especially love to be adopted
alongside Sylus so they can continue growing up and exploring the world together. Sweet, social,
and full of personality, Sawyer brings joy and entertainment wherever he goes. Sawyer is ready to
be adopted into his forever home. One that will welcome him into the family and keep him safely
indoors.
