Rescue:

A woman who helps with a significant amount of cat rescue in her small town reached out to Pet
Patrol about Scarlett and her four kittens after their family suddenly fell on very difficult times.
Scarlett originally belonged to a young couple who also had three dogs, and because Scarlett had
been allowed outside, she unexpectedly had a litter of kittens. Not long after, the couple lost their
housing and were faced with the heartbreaking reality of having to find homes for all of their
beloved pets while trying to rebuild their lives. Thankfully, through family connections, someone
who owned a bedandbreakfast was able to offer the couple temporary support, while friends
stepped in to take two of the dogs and another was rehomed. Scarlett and her kittens then came
safely into Pet Patrol’s care, where they could be cared for while beginning the next chapter of their
lives. Everyone involved simply wanted the best for the animals they loved, and we hope brighter
days are ahead for the family as well.

Personality:

Sylus is an incredibly active and friendly boy who approaches life like one big adventure. The
moment a toy rolls, bounces, or moves across the floor, he’s instantly in pursuit, leaping after it with
excitement and determination. One of his absolute favourite toys is the wire dancer, and he could
happily spend hours chasing, pouncing, and showing off his playful side. Sylus also adores
wrestling and playing with his brother Sawyer, and the two are constantly keeping each other
entertained with endless games before eventually curling up together for cuddles and naps. He
would thrive in a home with another playful feline companion who can match his energy and love
for fun, though his biggest wish would be to stay with Sawyer so they can continue their adventures
side by side. Sylus is ready to be adopted into his forever home. One that will welcome him into the
family and keep him safely indoors.
