Rescue:
A woman who has helped with rescuing cats in the past, in her small village, was contacted by a
former neighbor. She was told about a mother cat that had been abandoned at the front of their
home, which was becoming far to common. Wanting to help her right away, they brought Solene
into their garage where she could be safe and sheltered. About a week after arriving, and a surprise
to them, she gave birth to three kittens. Before those kittens were fully grown, however, she went
into heat again and was briefly allowed outside. Soon after, she returned pregnant once more and
later had a second litter of seven kittens. Very little is known about where she originally came from,
but it is clear she had once been cared for, as she is incredibly sweet, friendly, and easy to handle.
Sadly, abandonment like this has become all too common in the area, but thanks to the kindness of
those who stepped in to help, Solene and her kittens are now safe and receiving the care they
need.
Personality:
Sorell is a sweet and gentle little boy who loves being close to his humans. Whether he is climbing
onto your lap, playing with your toes, or following you around the room, he always wants to be part
of the action and near the people he loves. While he has a calm and affectionate side, Sorell can
also play like crazy when the zoomies kick in, turning into a tiny little brute as he races around and
wrestles with excitement. Once he has burned off his energy, he is happiest settling right back
down into a warm lap for cuddles and affection. Sorell wants to be adopted into a home that will
keep him safely indoors.
