ADOPTION PROFILE

Fiona

Fiona

Fiona

Rescue:

Fiona was first noticed outside a home in a small town during the dead of winter, looking anxious
and desperate for help. Two other cats were with her, and through neighbours it was learned that
the cats had been abandoned when their owners abruptly moved away. Thankfully, the other two
cats quickly found homes, but it soon became clear that Fiona was pregnant. She was safely
brought inside, and within a short time gave birth to six kittens. It was obvious from the beginning
that Fiona had once been an indoor cat and was very comfortable around people, showing a
friendly and affectionate personality despite everything she had been through. The kittens thrived in
the home and were all successfully placed with families. The difficult decision was later made to
rehome Fiona after it became clear she and the resident male cat were not getting along, and the
family wanted her to have a calmer, happier environment where she could truly relax and thrive.

Personality:

Fiona is an incredibly sweet and affectionate girl who loves being around her people. She’s very
chatty and enjoys “talking” throughout the day, especially when she wants attention or cuddles.
Fiona is a true lap cat who happily settles in close and enjoys being picked up and loved. She has
a playful side too and especially enjoys toys with bells that she can chase and bat around. While
she generally does well with other cats, Fiona would do best in a home where she feels
comfortable and secure. With her loving nature and gentle personality, she makes a wonderful
companion. Fiona is ready to be adopted into her forever home. One that will welcome her into the
family and keep her safely indoors.
