Rescue:
Polly’s story is one of bravery and kindness. For years, a compassionate woman living in a small
village has been caring for countless cats that wandered over from a nearby property filled with five
acres of junk. The makeshift shelters offered a bit of protection from the elements, but it was her
generous care that truly made a difference. Over five years, she dedicated herself to rescuing,
spaying, or neutering these cats—sending the friendly ones to rescue organizations and returning
the feral ones to live safely on her property. Late last summer, Puddin appeared. Friendly and
affectionate, she seemed to belong to someone, maybe an indoor/outdoor cat who let outdoors to
wander. But as fall turned to winter, it became clear that Puddin had no home. Her fur became
matted, tangled with burrs along one side, proof that she had been living outside far too long
without proper shelter, and she wasn’t alone. Puddin had three kittens, Penny, Pryah and Polly,
who were born the previous spring and faithfully followed her everywhere. Now, this pretty feline
family are safe in Pet Patrol’s care, ready to leave their tough past behind and enjoy the warmth
and love of a forever home.
Personality:
Polly is full of charm and curiosity, always the first to leap into a game or snuggle up with a friend.
With her plush fur and endearing nature, she captures hearts instantly. Polly purrs contentedly
when held and especially loves being cradled like a baby. She’s a bundle of playful energy who
can’t resist the Cat Dancer and will play until she’s joyfully exhausted. Then it’s time for a nap,
ideally curled up with one of her sisters. Polly is confident, outgoing, and enjoys the company of
other cats, making her a wonderful fit for a multicat household. She would be happiest adopted
with one of her sisters or her sweet mom, Puddin. Polly is ready to be adopted into her forever
home. One that will welcome her into the family and keep her safely indoors.
