Hi… my name is Satoru. 🩵🐾
I was born in a little shed behind two houses that were overflowing with things people had collected over the years. There wasn’t much room for us, but my mama did the best she could to keep me and my siblings safe.
We were the second litter born there.
Life was scary, and when my eye started to hurt, nobody noticed.
At first it was just uncomfortable. Then it became more painful every day. I couldn’t understand why it wouldn’t get better, and before long I could barely see out of it anymore.
By the time the kind people from Pet Patrol rescued me and my family, my eye was so badly infected and damaged that the veterinarians had no choice but to remove it.
I know I’ll only have one eye now…
But everyone keeps telling me that once it heals, I won’t remember what it felt like to live in pain.
They’re also telling me that kittens do wonderfully with one eye and that I’ll still be able to run, jump, play, and live a perfectly happy life. I really hope they’re right because I have so much growing up left to do.
My surgery, medications, and follow-up care are expensive, but Pet Patrol never hesitated to help me. They saw a tiny kitten who deserved a chance to live without pain, and they made sure I got one.
If you’re able to donate or share my story, you’ll be helping a little kitten leave a painful past behind and look toward a future that’s so much brighter than anything I’ve ever known.
Maybe I only have one eye now…
But for the very first time, I can finally see a future filled with love.
Thank you for believing I was worth saving.
With tiny purrs,
Satoru 🩵🐱
