Rescue:

Desi’s story began on a peaceful hobby farm with rolling fields, horses, fruit trees, and a long
laneway tucked away from the road. She had made the farm her home after arriving from a
neighbouring property, where she was known to be an incredibly friendly cat. When she gave birth
to her kittens in the barn, the family wanted to make sure they all had the opportunity for safe,
loving indoor lives. They reached out to Pet Patrol, and Desi and her little family were welcomed
into our care. As if raising her own kittens wasn’t enough, Desi also opened her heart to an
orphaned kitten named Muffin, lovingly accepting him as one of her own and giving him the comfort
and care every baby deserves.

Personality:

Desi is a beautiful long, lean girl with an incredibly gentle and nurturing nature. She has taken
every change in her life in stride, adapting wonderfully to the sanctuary and embracing her new
environment. Friendly, easy to pick up, and happy to be carried, Desi enjoys spending time with
people and has integrated seamlessly with the other cats in our care. Her calm, affectionate
personality and devoted heart make her a truly special companion. Desi is the kind of cat who
brings warmth and comfort wherever she goes, and she is sure to make a wonderful addition to one
very lucky family. Desi is ready to be adopted into her forever home. One that will welcome her into
the family and keep her safely indoors.
