Rescue:

Pet Patrol was contacted by a woman who found herself overwhelmed after trying to do the right
thing for several cats in need. Earlier in the summer, she had rescued two kittens, Magnus and
Beacon, who had been living outside, and brought them safely into her home. Around the same
time, another female cat appeared at her door, and the woman welcomed her inside so she could
safely give birth to three kittens. All five kittens were raised indoors with kindness, affection, play,
and care, but despite her efforts, the woman was unable to find homes for them. As the number of
cats grew, a family member in the home began struggling with the constant activity, and it became
clear she could no longer manage on her own. Wanting the best for them all, she reached out to
Pet Patrol for help, ensuring this little family could move forward toward safe, stable futures.

Personality:

Magnus is a big, goofy sweetheart with an even bigger heart. Confident, affectionate, and always
ready to make new friends, he has a hilarious habit of flopping dramatically onto the floor the
moment someone looks his way, rolling onto his back in hopes of earning a well­deserved belly rub.
Although he’s a large boy, Magnus is incredibly gentle and still has the playful spirit of a kitten. He
loves chasing wand toys, inventing his own imaginative games, and zooming around the room as if
every day is a new adventure. Once he’s burned off some energy, he’s perfectly content stretching
out for a nap on a chair, cat tree, or anywhere he can keep an eye on the action. Magnus is
wonderful with people of all ages, including children, and approaches new situations with
confidence and curiosity. He also loves the company of other cats and is always hoping to make a
new feline friend. His favourite companion is Pretty, and the two spend their days play­wrestling,
playing hide­and­seek, and enjoying each other’s company. Magnus would love to be adopted
alongside Pretty or into a home with another friendly, playful cat who is looking for a best friend.
Magnus is ready to be adopted into his forever home. One that will welcome him into the family and
keep him safely indoors.
