Thomas

Rescue:

Thomas’ family came to Pet Patrol after a woman who runs a small rescue in a remote town was
contacted by a couple who needed help caring for the growing number of cats on their rural
property. Over the years, they had opened their hearts to many stray cats, providing food, shelter,
and kindness to those who wandered onto their land. While some cats simply stopped by for a meal
before continuing on their way, others chose to stay. Eventually, there were simply too many cats
for the couple to manage on their own. Momma Taylor had a litter of kittens the previous fall, all of
whom found homes except for one daughter. By spring, both Taylor and her daughter had become
pregnant and gave birth just two days apart, resulting in nine kittens altogether. Concerned about
finding safe, loving homes for so many cats, the couple reached out for help. Taylor and her four
kittens Tate, Teagan, Thomas, and Trinity joined Pet Patrol’s care alongside the four kittens from
her daughter’s litter, while the family chose to keep Taylor’s daughter and ensured she was spayed.
Having been raised in a loving home, all of the cats arrived friendly, social, and comfortable being
handled, making the transition to foster care an easy one as they began searching for forever
homes of their own.

Personality:

Thomas is a thoughtful and cautious little kitten who likes to take his time exploring the world
around him. Full of curiosity, he prefers to inspect everything carefully before deciding which toy
deserves his attention first. He especially enjoys the floor scratchers where he can stretch out,
scratch away, and get in a good little workout. Like most playful boys, kitten wrestling is one of his
favourite activities, closely followed by racing around the room chasing anything that moves.
Thomas is a sweet and gentle kitten who would do wonderfully being adopted alongside one of his
siblings, where he would be perfectly happy curling up for cozy kitten naps in a loving forever
home of his own. He would make a wonderful addition to a family that will keep him safe,
cherished, and happily indoors forever.
