Rescue:
Phlox and Parker came from the same neighbourhood alongside their sibling, Rosy. Kindhearted
women in the area had been feeding the cats and doing everything they could to keep them safe
while trying to gain their trust. Knowing the cats deserved warm homes and consistent care, they
reached out for help. Phlox was much easier to trap thanks to his love of food, happily wandering
into the trap for a good meal. Parker, however, was far more cautious and difficult to catch. He
would quietly follow the women during their morning and evening walks, but always kept enough
distance to stay safe. Over time, patience and kindness helped both boys make their way into Pet
Patrol’s care, where they could finally leave outdoor life behind and begin learning what it means to
be spoiled indoor cats.
Personality:
Phlox and Parker are a wonderfully bonded pair who balance each other perfectly. Phlox is the
more confident and affectionate of the two, especially when treats are involved. He adores
attention, happily leans into pets, and will charm anyone with his handsome, shiny black coat and
sweet little face. Parker is a little more reserved at first and likes to carefully observe everything
happening around him before joining in. Once he feels comfortable, though, his playful and goofy
personality shines through. He loves exploring cozy hiding spots, chasing toys, and zooming
around the house with excitement before dramatically flopping down nearby to relax. Together,
these boys spend their days wrestling, grooming one another, playing, and curling up side by side.
Their bond is incredibly special, and they would be happiest finding a forever home together. Phlox
and Parker are ready to be adopted into their forever home. One that will welcome them into the
family and keep them safely indoors.
