Rescue:

Pet Patrol often works alongside smaller rural rescue organizations that quickly become
overwhelmed by cats in need, many of whom come from farm properties, abandonment situations,
or uncontrolled overpopulation. One such rescue, located about 45 minutes from the sanctuary,
reached out after someone asked for help with a tiny orange kitten who had unexpectedly
appeared on their property. As they cared for her, it quickly became clear that Caramel was an
exceptionally sweet and friendly little kitten who craved attention and affection. At only around 12
weeks old, they knew she was far too young and trusting to survive life as a barn cat. With spring
weather still unpredictable, they wanted a safer future for her. Soon, Caramel made her way into
Pet Patrol’s care, where she could finally experience the warmth, comfort, and security every kitten
deserves.

Personality:

Caramel is a sweet orange kitten with a big personality and an even bigger voice! This affectionate
girl always lets you know exactly what she wants, whether it’s cuddle time, snacks, or playtime with
her favourite spring toys. She absolutely loves being held and will happily curl up in your arms for
snuggles and attention. When she’s not soaking up cuddles, Caramel is racing around with
adorable zoomies and chasing toys with endless enthusiasm. She especially loves springs,
interactive play, and spending time with other cats, making her a wonderful fit for a home with feline
friends. She’s playful, social, loving, and guaranteed to keep you smiling with her talkative nature
and sweet little face. Caramel wants to be adopted into a home that will keep her safely indoors.
