Rescue:
A woman who has helped with rescuing cats in the past, in her small village, was contacted by a
former neighbor. She was told about a mother cat that had been abandoned at the front of their
home, which was becoming far to common. Wanting to help her right away, they brought Solene
into their garage where she could be safe and sheltered. About a week after arriving, and a surprise
to them, she gave birth to three kittens. Before those kittens were fully grown, however, she went
into heat again and was briefly allowed outside. Soon after, she returned pregnant once more and
later had a second litter of seven kittens. Very little is known about where she originally came from,
but it is clear she had once been cared for, as she is incredibly sweet, friendly, and easy to handle.
Sadly, abandonment like this has become all too common in the area, but thanks to the kindness of
those who stepped in to help, Solene and her kittens are now safe and receiving the care they
need.
Personality:
Styx is a spunky little tortie girl with a huge personality packed into her petite frame. Once one of
the smallest in her litter, she has grown into a confident and playful kitten who is always ready for
attention. Styx is very vocal and often the first to ask for love, happily chirping and following her
humans around for affection. While she loves her zoomies and playful bursts of energy, she is also
an incredible snuggler who adores being held close, kissed, and cuddled. Styx is looking for a
loving forever home where she can continue to shine and be spoiled with affection. Styx wants to
be adopted into a home that will keep her safely indoors.
