Rescue:
Pet Patrol was contacted by a woman living on a rural property who had long been committed to
managing the cats around her through spaying and neutering. Recently, a new female cat
wandered onto her property from a nearby area and made herself at home. It wasn’t long before it
became clear the cat was pregnant, and with the arrival of spring, kittens soon followed. Wanting to
give them the best chance at a good life, she reached out for help placing them. Dove was brought
into Pet Patrol’s care as one of the kittens, arriving with a mild cold and slight eye infection, but
already comfortable being handled and eager for affection.
Personality:
Dove may be the more petite of the siblings, but she more than makes up for it with her huge
personality and spunky little attitude. She is the perfect mix of playful and affectionate, happily
racing around during zoomies one moment before curling up for cuddles and attention the next.
Dove loves human interaction and has a sweet, loving nature that makes her incredibly easy to
adore. She shares a connection with her sister Della and is often found cuddled up beside her, so
while they do not need to be adopted together, Dove would certainly enjoy continuing to have a
feline companion in her forever home. She truly is the best of both worlds — full of playful energy
while still being incredibly snuggly and affectionate. Dove wants to be adopted into a home that will
keep her safely indoors.
