Brinley

Rescue:

Just before Christmas, a small black mother cat and four ten week old kittens began appearing at a
neighborhood feeding station, coming from an old shed area nearby. Though timid and uncertain at
first, they slowly grew comfortable enough to stay and eat while their caretakers were nearby. The
kittens sometimes allowed gentle touches, but their protective mother—later named Betty—kept
her distance, watching over them carefully. The plan was to gradually gain their trust and rescue
them when the weather improved, but in February it became clear that Betty was pregnant again.
On a cold, foggy day in early March, she was discovered sheltering in a strawfilled box with six
newborn kittens. Knowing the family needed help, the rescuers quickly secured Betty and carefully
gathered her babies, bringing them safely to Pet Patrol. Though understandably upset at first, Betty
immediately settled with her kittens. Now the whole family is warm, safe, and Betty will finally be
spayed so she never has to endure another litter.

Personality:

Brinley is an affectionate, playful, and spunky little girl who isn’t shy about asking for cuddles. She’ll
let you know exactly when it’s time to be picked up and loved, making her a very interactive and
engaging companion. When she’s not seeking attention, she’s busy playing or snuggling up with
her sister Bitsy, who she is deeply bonded to. These two girls bring out the best in each other and
would love to find a home together. Brinley is ready to be adopted into her forever home. One that
will welcome her into the family and keep her safely indoors.
