Rescue:

Fiesta was born to a pretty calico tabby cat named Reba. She was a street cat who just
showed up one day last summer and took up living on the back deck of a country home. She
found shelter below the deck and eventually her first litter of kittens was born under there as
well (Fiesta being one of them). Not being fixed by the people who fed her, Reba had a second litter of four babies during the snow storm at the end of March. By this time, the people
had provided her with a heated cat house and one morning heard the wee peeps of babies.
Thinking it is not the best weather to have kittens outside, and after not sleeping all night worrying about them, the woman moved the babies into a box and then took Reba into spare
room in the house. Reba was concerned until she saw her kittens and then settled right in.
Soon after that, Fiesta came into the house and was cared for as well. She very much appreciated the new life style offered to her and has thrived.

Personality:

Fiesta is described as tiny and tough. She will stand up to bigger animals than herself who
appear to be too nosy or pushy, but otherwise she is fine with both cats and dogs who are
gentle and accepting. She is quite intelligent and quickly learns her person’s routine, when it
is feeding time, cuddle time and when they come home after work. This petite little cat is
learning to be a lap cat, likes to roll around on the floor when pet and wants to be close to
everyone. She quite likes her scratching post, mouse toys and is really curious. She was the
first of her litter to climb or hunt down a toy, she is clever and a fast learner. Fiesta calls for her
people, chirping and chatting, and once you are in sight she is happy and purrs deeply. She is
a very interesting and loving cat who is ready to be adopted into her forever home. One that
will welcome her into the family and keep her safely indoors
