Rescue:

Meko is a cute little black & white kitty that came from a farm. This property is right on the
highway, well traveled with many large trucks and campers heading to the beach. The
property owner had noticed a new cat hanging around and then one day she disappeared.
He did not know what happened to her, but she could not be found. Soon afterwards he
came upon a nest of kittens, but it was a frightening sight. Only Meko was alive, the other
two kittens had been attacked, all that was left was fur. How awful. But this is what happens
when cats are not spayed or neutered, defenseless kittens born and abandoned in the
country. This is such a harsh reality for them that is life threatening. Not as picturesque as
some people think. Luckily for Meko he was rescued and has thrived.

Personality:

Such a fun loving and happy go lucky kitten. He came into our care, brave and social which
made it much easier to pet him, cuddle him and carry him around without him being fearful.
He is a very outgoing and active boy, who has really taken to exploring everything in his new
foster home. It is exciting to watch him discover new things, especially toys, something he
had never seen before. Meko is great with the other kittens in his foster home and enjoys having a
buddy. He is ready to be adopted into his forever home. One that will welcome him into the
family and keep him safely indoors
