Rescue:

Although rescued from different farms Maple & Phantom have become inseparable in their
Pet Patrol foster home. Phantom was born on a beef and cattle farm where kittens are born
on a regular basis. In this case the family is very animal friendly and the parents of Phantom
and his siblings have since been spayed and neutered. The children on the property are very
good to the cats, they are picked up and carried, and gently loved. Pretty little Maple was
considered a feral kitten when she was living at a farm property (she is now very loving). The
people there had an abundance of cats and in trying to control the overpopulation they
reached out to a local cat rescue organization. The volunteers found a well organized farm,
busy and productive, but not much attention was paid to the cats. There were cows and
horses, a pen with pigs and a few goats as well. It is a rough environment for wee babies and
many were stepped on by cows or lost in the hayloft. Soon both of these lovely cats were in
Pet Patrol care to the delight of their foster home.

Personality:

Maple has come a long way in becoming a friendly and affectionate kitty, with the help of her
foster mom and Phantom. Maple adores him and being outgoing and playful he has shown
her how to be a cat with people. Maple is sweet and gentle and loves all kinds of toys. She
chases the wand toys and loves anything catnip. She can be found curled up with someone at
bedtime, usually with Phantom close by as well. This handsome boy is very social but definitely needs a buddy. He loves to play and run around, has games of Chase and Hide & Seek
with the other cats in the house and Maple as well. He is very good with children who are
gentle, is all round a lovely boy looking for a family with Maple. Maple and Phantom are ready
to be adopted into their forever home. One that will welcome them into the family and keep
them safely indoors.
