Rescue:
A lady who lives in a small village close to the city had noticed a mother cat and her kittens in
the spring. The kittens were rescued and brought to Pet Patrol but she was not able to successfully rescue the mother cat and finally gave up trying, but that produced a second litter in
the fall. Wanting to save this litter as well, the same woman borrowed our humane trap and
Little Georgie was the second kitten of the litter to come into our care within a day. Georgie
was not very happy to to start with, as it was all new to her and her mom was not around, but
once they were all reunited she settled in a bit. The mother cat is very wise to the trap and with
some trickery we have been able to entice her into the trap. She has been spayed and assessed for friendliness.
Personality:
.
Georgie has progressed nicely in regards to trusting people and wanting to be with them. She
is quite a playful girl who loves toys of all kinds (catnip mice, wand toys, balls with bells etc).
and chasing her foster siblings. She tends to follow the lead of other cats, is quite gentle and
has a wonderful purr. She loves ear rubs and body massages and will smile at you with full
contentment. She can be found napping anywhere but rocking chairs and beds are her current favorites. She knows that she is a pretty girl and is not shy to show off her glossy black
coat – she is hard to resist. Georgie is ready to be adopted into her forever home. One that
will welcome her into the family and keep her safely indoors
