ADOPTION PROFILE

Jolene

Jolene

Jolene

Rescue:

Pet Patrol received a call from a woman who needed help placing some of her kittens. It was
a busy family home with children and other pets, and the mom was juggling a lot to keep things
going. She had two male cats and two female cats in her house and none of them were fixed.
A little known fact is that a female cat does not have to be in heat to mate, and being in a
climate controlled environment the cats will breed all year round. Two litters were born within a
short period of time and we were very fortunate to get Jolene and her two siblings as they are
well loved, gentle, healthy and family friendly. Rescued cats off the street sometimes need
some time and patience to come around to people and when they do it is very rewarding but
they often are not comfortable in an active home. Jolene luckily has never felt wet grass under
her little feet, had to fend off starvation and cold by constantly moving from place to place or
been sick in the dead of winter. All the kittens came in very happy and ready for adoption

Personality:

Jolene is known as the peanut of the group. She is quite a bit smaller than her two brothers but
she keeps up to them pretty well, especially her brother Jeff. She loves to find little balls and
pulls them out from their hiding spots under the couch or the toy basket, and she runs around
chasing them, the wand toy and the elusive little red dot of the laser light. She will sleep half
the day in your arms it you let her. She is described as “currently itty bitty but eats lots and lots”
so she will catch up to the others in no time. Jolene is ready to be adopted into her forever
home, hopefully with her brother Jeff. One that will welcome them into the family and keep
them safely indoors.
