Anna

Rescue:

Pet Patrol received a phone call from a local farmer who does things the traditional way.
They don’t drive cars or have hydro to their properties, farming is the usual way of life and
they have a simpler way of doing things. In this case they have a few too many cats than
they would like on the property, and because they do not spay or neuter their felines,
the breeding is uncontrollable. The man on the other line asked if we would be able to
take some of the cats and he mentioned seven in total. The family did what they could in
regards feeding them, but that was basically very low grade Barn Cat Chow and cows milk.
Not a good idea as cats are lactose intolerant. Soon Anna and her six siblings were at the
sanctuary appreciating a warm and cozy bed and plenty of kitty kibble.

Personality:

Anna is a very playful young girl. She started out very shy and hiding under the cat tree
when she first arrived in our home, but has now really come out of her shell, happily greeting
you at the door, meowing for attention. It is a must to sit down immediately and pet her
but don’t stop because she loves a good back rub. She will paw at your hand and bunt her
head into you for more petting and scratches. As a spry little girl she will happily bat at just
about anything and if it moves, she will find it and swat at it. She is in high gear for anything
she can chase and catch. Anna enjoys sitting high on the cat tree and observing her
surroundings and the activities, watching the people in the house or what the birds and
squirrels are doing outside. This pretty little brown tabby is ready to be adopted into her
forever home. She has become very attached to Cindy in her foster home and it would be nice for them to be adopted together. Into a home that will welcome them into the family and keep them safely indoors
