Rescue:

Pet Patrol was notified about two lonely cats that were outside in the snow. One was a Torti
(later named Nala) and the other was black and white. It appears that they somehow got out of
their home and got lost or were abandoned. A couple who live in the high-rise apartment
complex had noticed them a few days before, and being winter they definitely took note. The
cats seemed to be out of sorts and not sure of what to do. Then the next day they found them
huddled together in the corner of a cement wall and with a storm pending that night the couple
brought the two cats inside their apartment. Nala proved to be lovely and affectionate and the
other cat more skittish. Nala made herself at home right away and after eating her fill, she laid
down with a big sign and fell into a deep sleep. She was safely indoors and once again feeling
happy. The other cat hid somewhere in the apartment and the couple were unable to bring
her to the sanctuary at the same time as Nala.

Personality:

Nala is quite used to people, likes to be pet, brushed, and cuddled. She will crawl up on the
bed with you at night and lay down at your side and being a good size girl, you definitely feel
her company. She likes to play passively but could use a little more activity in her daily routine.
She was treated well in her previous home because it looks like she has enjoyed a lot of
treats. Passive, pleasant and intrigued by anything new, she has made herself at home at the
sanctuary and is fine with other cats. She would be ok as an only cat as well. Nala is ready
to be adopted into her forever home. One that will welcome her into the family and keep her
safely
