Rescue:
A woman sent an email to Pet Patrol explaining her situation and that sadly, she had come to
the decision of re homing her cat. You could hear her crying through the words that she wrote.
She was in a situation where she had already had to re home one family cat and their dog and
she had hoped to be able to keep this cat, Momoon, in her care, especially since she was
expecting her second litter. But she said “I had to think of my children first and make their life
safe.” It seems the marriage had dissolved and finances were extremely tight as well.
Momoon came into Pet Patrol care extremely pregnant and within a week gave birth to six
healthy kittens. Moira, Mina, Marie, Mendel, Maurice and Mu. They have been raised in an
experienced foster home and all have thrived. We were told that the mother cat was half
Bengal and some of her kittens have her remarkable markings.
Personality:
These six attractive kittens are all very active and love to run and play. You would think they
were training for the Olympics with their jumping and climbing abilities. Anything that moves
catches their attention and they will play with everything that they can reach: balls, mice, shoelaces
and boxes. All six enjoy playing on/under a blanket draped over your legs as you sit on
the floor, and it quickly becomes a comfy spot for them to take a nap. Moira is a sweet girl
and a bit wary of new things at first, but then adapts quickly and is comfortable in new environments.
She is go, go, go and then – nap. She likes to climb up on things and observe her
surroundings and watch what is happening. She has done well with new people, has met and
played with children and they have daily contact with the resident gentle lab mix dog. Moira is
ready to be adopted into her forever home. One that will welcome her into the family and keep
her safely indoors.
