Rescue:

A woman sent an email to Pet Patrol explaining her situation and that sadly, she had come to
the decision of re homing her cat. You could hear her crying through the words that she wrote.
She was in a situation where she had already had to re home one family cat and their dog and
she had hoped to be able to keep this cat, Momoon, in her care, especially since she was
expecting her second litter. But she said “I had to think of my children first and make their life
safe.” It seems the marriage had dissolved and finances were extremely tight as well.
Momoon came into Pet Patrol care extremely pregnant and within a week gave birth to six
healthy kittens. Mendel, Mina, Maurice, Marie, Moira and MuThey have been raised in an
experienced foster home and all have thrived. We were told that the mother cat was half
Bengal and some of her kittens have her remarkable markings

Personality:

Mendel would like to be adopted with his sister Mu, so they can continue their training for the Olympics with their jumping and climbing abilities. Anything that moves
catches their attention and they will play with everything that they can reach: balls, mice, shoelaces
and boxes. They all enjoy playing on/under a blanket draped over your legs as you sit on
the floor, and it quickly becomes a comfy spot for them to take a nap. Mendel is such a sweet
boy who loves attention from both people and his siblings. He will often fall asleep on his
foster mom and snuggle right in. He has done well with new people, has met and played with
children and they have daily contact with the resident gentle lab mix dog. Mendel is ready to
be adopted into his forever home with his sister Mu. One that will welcome them into the family and keep them
safely indoors.
