Rescue:

Poor Reese. He has lived the rough side of being outside, lost or abandoned from his original
family, without food or shelter. Here is his story from his rescuer: He was first spotted about
three weeks ago in our small town wearing a collar, without any ID, and then one day he
showed up without it. He was very skinny, his fur was brittle and thin and he was very hungry.
He was quick to be your friend and showed how affectionate he was, trying to get into our
house and also the neighbours. Since he first arrived he has put on some weight, but over
all is still underweight for a cat his size. He took up refuge under our deck, and we were prepared
for him to spend the winter there if a home could not be found.” Soon he was in Pet
Patrol care and immediately relaxed in his cage, happy to be indoors, safe and sound

Personality:

We have been happy to have Reese with Pet Patrol and in his foster home and watch him
evolve into the confident cat that he was meant to be, in a home with people around him. He
is carefree and comfortable now, loves to be with people, receive pets and brushing. He’s
such a sweet, affectionate and calm kitty. His thin and rough coat is now shiny and almost full
and his overall health has improved. He spends his days lounging in the window watching the
outside from a safe place. Reese would do well in a household with adults only given his easygoing
personality and he gets along well with visitors. He likes to play with wand toys and
anything with catnip is a big hit. Reese is now ready to be adopted into his forever home. One
that will welcome him into the family and keep him safely indoors.
