Rescue:
A woman who lives in a small town had noticed this pretty torti wandering around in her back
yard. She is a kind person and realizes that not all roaming cats are owned, and that they need
the necessities of life that only people can provide. Food, fresh water and a heated cat house
to ensure their survival. Over the years she has helped many cats along the way to a happier
life in a person’s home, but if they proved to be feral, they were spayed or neutered and can live
their life with her watching over them. Shelly was quite unsure while she lived outdoors, but as
time went on and the woman gained her trust ( a constant supply of food will make a difference
in their view of people) and soon Shelly was showing her sweet personality. Pet Patrol was
contacted to see if we could take her and once there was space she was quickly brought into
our care.
Personality:
Shelley is a very, very friendly cat. She loves to jump up on the couch or bed for snuggles, and
is easily picked up and carried. As a very well-behaved kitty she doesn’t scratch furniture or
jump up on surfaces. She is very good with the resident cat and is trying to make friends with
her. She is entertaining when she is entertained by watching UTube bird shows, staring at the
screen in wonderment. She is fascinated by it. Shelley likes any kind of toys, and loves to be
brushed with a grooming glove. Always near her foster mom she is good company and a
pleasure to have around. Shelly is ready to be adopted into her forever home. One that will
welcome her into the family and keep her safely indoors
