Rescue:

Moppet and his feline family were born on a property that houses and sells recreational vehicles.
The two ladies that manage the office have looked after these cats for many years. They
are quite passionate about them, and made sure that they were fed twice daily, even on their
days off. Shelters were provided for the cats, year round, that were insulated and had straw in
them to keep the cats warm and dry. The owners of the company are retiring and the property
has been sold and will be redeveloped, and the women wondered what will happen to the
cats? A visiting couple took note of the situation and reached out to Pet Patrol to see if we
could be able to help. They offered to rescued the cats and each day they brought in one or
two cats until they were safely in our care. Although the kitties were not sure of the new people,
they were not aggressive and some quite petable. It wont take long for them to be socialized
as the women had earned their trust.

Personality:

Moppet has come a long way since he was rescued. He will be a bit wary when approached
but once you touch him he absolutely melts under your hand and loves being pet, massaged
and brushed. He is very social with the other cats and especially the resident dog often stealing
his big toys to play with. He can be found cuddled up to and grooming either feline or
canine friends in his foster home. Moppet is very good at the zoomies, running around the
house and often enticing the other pets to join in and play. This regal looking boy is ready to be
adopted into his forever home with a playmate. One that will welcome him into the family keep
him safely indoors.
