Rescue:

Samsun was found on a farm near a small town. The farmer recognized that he was super
friendly and affectionate and definitely not the usual barn cat. Although he ate with the other
cats and was not frightened, he was out of his element. You could just tell by his facial expressions
that this was not the life style he was used to and he felt very dejected. How did he go
from a family home to a barn – cold weather, damp cement floors and straw that stuck in his fur
relentlessly? The farmer posted Samsun on the local Lost Pet site and one woman replied,
hoping it was her cat. It was not, as Samsun was an unneutered male but she took him home
with her, hoping she could find his original owner. After exhausting all avenues this handsome
boy came into Pet Patrol care and is now ready to be adopted into his forever home. One that
will welcome him into the family and keep him safely indoors.

Personality:

Samsun suits his name. He is big and strong, friendly, gentle and gorgeous. Although his
beautiful coat was a bit dull and he had mats throughout, he was very accepting of brushing
and now it appears much healthier. He has integrated in with the other cats without incident
and loves to play with toys of all kinds. Samson can often be found sprawled out on the wide
window sill, basking in the sun light. He is adorable and very cuddly and affectionate.
Samson likes nothing more than to be pet, brushed, cuddled and coo’d to. He is ready to be
adopted into his forever home. One that willwelcome him into the famiy and keep him safely
indoors.
