ADOPTION PROFILE

Quade

Quade

Quade

Rescue:

One of Pet Patrol‘s long time volunteers (17 years plus), lives out in the country. Rarely do they
see stray cats as there are a lot of predators that live in the woods surrounding their property.
Fox, coyote and hawks will pick off a cat very quickly. When Quade was first noticed he was
heard howling by some workmen renovating the volunteer’s home and they were concerned
that it might be one of hers. Our volunteer confirmed it was a stray and immediately picked
him up for a cuddle, fed him and took note of how hungry he was. Quade was starving, cold
and very unsure by being outside. He was quite insistent for the attention. After making the
rounds for attention and eating his fill he trotted off and reappeared several times before they
were able to rescue him. Finally, he was in a safe and warm place at the sanctuary, with plenty
of food and lots of pets. He showed us how friendly and affectionate he is and very used to
people and all the amenities of a home.

Personality:

Where oh where did this boy come from? He is so sweet and gentle, he was a little concerned
when his environment was changed but overall he has adapted well to living at the sanctuary.
He is kind, gentle and sweet natured, he is learning about toys, the most exciting one has
catnip in it. Either a toy mouse or a cat nip sachet are his absolute favorites. In time he will
learn more about interactive toys with people and the carefree lifestyle that we can offer him.
He is happy to have the attention and affection of his caregivers and the company of the other
cats. Quade is ready to be adopted into his forever home. One that will welcome him into the
family and keep him safely indoors
