Wanda

Rescue:

A woman who lives up north often calls us about feline overpopulation situations in her area.
She reaches out to other rescues for help and there are some vet clinics that do adoptions to.
She came across an elderly woman who was living on her own, low income but very much
loved cats and just wanted to help them. Whenever someone had an unwanted cat or a stray
showed up, she would take them in. She could only afford the cheapest of food. The cats, of
course not being fixed because she couldn’t afford it, breed freely. But the time our volunteer
became involved there were 45 cats in a very small home. Pet Patrol was able to help with six
of the kittens to begin with. They are friendly, clean and only two had minor eye infections. As
hard as it was looking after so many cats, she did make sure the kittens were handled well
and loved. They are very sweet and immediately went to their foster home from the Pet Patrol
sanctuary. They have thrived.

Personality:

Wanda is a happy go lucky kitten who loves her people and is easy to pick up and cuddle. She
is so playful and loves to run around and play with the other foster kittens and toys of all types.
She is often seen rolling around and scurrying in and out of the kitty tunnel, chasing the tails of
the other cats and scampering up the cat tree. She loves to look outside and see what is
happening, observing the birds and squirrels with a keen eye. She is quite lovable and likes
to be with her people as well. She is a wonderful little cat. Wanda is ready to be adopted into
her forever home. One that will welcome her into the family and keep her safely indoors.
