ADOPTION PROFILE

Jack Frost

Jack Frost

Jack Frost

Rescue:

A woman was concerned about wee kittens that had been born in her backyard and were now
about eight weeks old. Originally the mother cat had shown up in the spring and was always
second in line to the food dish after another female cat. The top cat eventually left and the
mother cat was able to feast on the daily feedings freely. The woman had first noticed this cat
while she was pregnant and now obviously slimmer, had given birth in a protected area. At the
back of the property there were tree limbs piled up and compost and brush were covering it. It
was like a cave and that is where they first saw the kittens playing. Eventually the kittens (now
named Jack Frost and Jingles) were enticed closer to the house and then invited into the
shop. There they were able to provide a warm and dry environment for them, and of course
socialize them. The mom being extremely feral will soon be rescued and spayed. She has
everything she needs on this property and will be released but there will not be any more
unwanted kittens.

Personality:

Jack Frost is cute as a button. He loves to snuggle up with you, be held and cradled in your
arms. When he isn’t with his people he likes to chase spring toys and ping pong balls around
the house, run in and out of the cat tunnel and a cardboard box becomes a fun place to play
and nap. He has his crazy time and runs around in circles for a few minutes, it is funny to
watch him. At bedtime he will sleep on your pillow with you, purring away into the night. Jack
Frost is ready to be adopted into his forever home with a sibling or playmate. One that will
welcome him into the family and keep him safely indoors.
