Rescue:

It is not uncommon for a rescue group to come across a large colony of cats that need to be
rescued. Usually, a plea for help is put out by the owner, or a concerned friend/neighbour,
wanting the cats living conditions to be improved and to control the over population. They may
be living in an industrial area, hoarder’s home or a farm property and traditionally none of the
cats have been spayed or neutered. It would be difficult for one rescue group to be able to
take in all the cats and they reach out to other cat rescue organizations to assist. The colony
that Huxley and Harper came from had at least forty five cats living on a farm. It was an older
couple and things just got out of hand. Homes needed to be found, but usually people run out
of connections for that, and within a month the cats would begin breeding again. Luckily all the
kittens there were safely housed in the work shop and socialized by the couple. They arrived
at Pet Patrol healthy and with good weight.

Personality:

Hogan loves to be around his people, to be cuddled and carried around. He is very people
oriented and a great little buddy. He is the type of cat that keeps you warm during the winter
because he loves to snuggle in with you on the couch or in bed. Hogan enjoys hanging out on
the couch or looking outside at the neighbourhood, watching the people traffic and birds. He
has started to play with toys and likes anything that he can chase or be interactive with his
people. Hogan has endless love to give to someone who enjoys a cuddly cat. He is ready to
be adopted into his forever home. One that will welcome them into the family and keep them
safely indoors
